Well, we have a three resourceful websites and event planning tips to assist you with party planning. It’s our pleasure to research venues, brainstorm event concepts and walk our clients through the event planning process.

3 Event Planning Resources

  1. Downtown Jacksonville Meeting and Event Spaces

Stop spending countless hours on Google and Pinterest! Downtown Vision, Inc. has a running list of more than 130 meeting and event venues in Downtown Jacksonville that you can review. The list includes websites, space capacity, venue accommodations and more. Take a peek now and thank us later!

  2. City of Jacksonville Parks and Community Centers

Who doesn’t love Jacksonville’s parks? Most Jacksonville community members host baby showers and family gatherings such as birthday parties or family reunions at community centers. It’s recommended that you contact the community center you are interested in to determine if they have availability, inquire about the rental hours and fees. Renting picnic pavilions and spaces within Jacksonville’s parks is pretty easy to do. Learn more about the parks reservation process on the City of Jacksonville’s website. You will need to obtain a Special Use permit if you are hosting an event open to the public, plan to collect fees or expect more than 50 people to name a few.

  3. Community Event Calendars

You should check out community event calendars in Jacksonville on different media outlets and websites such as The Florida Times-Union or Eventbrite to check out where other organizations are hosting events! This makes your job easier and nine times faster… the venue’s name and address will be at your finger tips.
